From Melbourne:
(approximately 3.5 hour drive)

Follow the
Western Highway towards Horsham. 10.5km after Dadswells Bridge, home of the Giant Koala, you will see a sign on your left for Laharum and Zumsteins. Follow the signs to Laharum. Just after you pass through Laharum you will see a turn off on you right to Brimpaen and a sign for Asses Ears Wilderness Lodge.  Follow this road for 6 km until you see a cross roads with signs pointing to the left onto Schmidt Rd towards Grampians Horse Riding Centre and Asses Ears Wilderness Lodge. Follow this road and we are the first turning on your right.

 From Adelaide:
(approximately 5 hour drive)

Follow the
Western Highway towards Horsham. Pass through Horsham and follow the Henty Highway for approx 40 km . You will see a sign pointing to the Grampians Tourist Route and Brimpaen. Take this turning, there is a sign pointing to the Asses Ears Wilderness Lodge.  Follow the road past the crossroads through Brimpaen for 8km. You will come to another crossroads. Turn right onto Schmidt Rd towards Grampians Horse Riding Centre and Asses Ears Wilderness Lodge.  We are the first turning on the right.

From the Great Ocean Road

Asses Ears Wilderness Lodge is just a 2 hour drive from Port Fairy or Warrnambool. Head towards Hamilton and then follow the Henty Highway, driving through Cavendish for approximately 70 km. Look out for a turn off on your right for Brimpaen. Follow the road past the crossroads though Brimpaen for 8 km. You will come to another crossroads. Turn right onto Schmidt Rd towards Grampians Horse Riding Centre and we are the first turning on the right.
